On October 5, 2024, the HopeRise Foundation Nepal team, along with its board members, visited an old age home to spread love and care. This visit aligns with our ongoing mission to improve the well-being of those in need, especially the elderly, through compassion and community service.

Objectives of the Visit:

• Offer financial and material assistance to the elderly.
• Provide essential items like food, clothing, and hygiene products.
• Spend time with the elderly, offering companionship and emotional support.
• Raise awareness about the importance of elderly care within the community.

What We Did:

• Donated Money and Essential Items: Our team provided the old age home with a monetary donation, as well as essential supplies such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items.
• Time with the Elderly: We engaged in conversations, listened to their life stories, and shared laughter. These small acts of kindness made a significant emotional impact.
• Captured Special Moments: We took group photos with the residents, spreading joy and love, which you can view below.

Outcomes:

• We were able to bring smiles to the faces of the elderly residents, offering them much-needed support.
• This visit reinforced our belief in the power of community care and inspired others to join in our mission to uplift the vulnerable.
• Discussions of future collaborations with the old age home are already in progress to ensure continued support for the residents.
